No One Cares if I Am Early – STILL Managing My Image After All These Years

I aspire to be authentic in all that I do. And yet, today here I am wanting to manage the perceptions of others regarding when I arrive at a gathering. Not only am I sure that they don’t care, but more than that, I am appalled that I DO care.  I am grateful to have noticed this going on in my mind, and grateful that I can laugh at myself.

By the way, when I arrived 11 minutes early, I was the last one to arrive! I had a good laugh about that!

I Don’t Have to Blame Others to Choose What is Right for Me

Sometimes (okay, many times) in order to justify my choices, I have made others “wrong.” I am discovering that I can choose what is right for me independent of others. I don’t have to rationalize or justify my choice intellectually. Feeling its rightness is all that is required.
